- Edelman, Paweł
- (1958-). A leading Polish cinematographer. After graduating from the Cinematography Department of the Łódź Film School in 1988, Edelman has been working in Poland and abroad. Edelman's growing stature is evidenced by his work on Andrzej Wajda's heritage films, Pan Tadeusz (1999) and Revenge (2002), and also by his recent work on Roman Polański's multinational coproductions, such as The Pianist (2002) and Oliver Twist (2005). For The Pianist and Ray (2004, Taylor Hackford) Edelman received several prestigious international awards.Select other films: Nastazja (1994, Andrzej Wajda), Father's Law (1999, Marek Kondrat), Edges of the Lord (2001, Yurek Bogaye-wicz), All the King's Men (2006, Steven Zaillian).Historical Dictionary of Polish Cinema by Marek Haltof
